No, it doesn't work. My DVD player does not recognize the disc. As far as I know, I have to create VOB files first ... is that really necessary? And how can I do that?

The *.MPEG file is in real a *.TS file (but it's not that important) To make a DVD from it, you have to do the following steps: 1. Demuxing the mpeg file (separating audio stream and video stream)
2. Authoring the DVD (make *.VOB, *.IFO, *.BUP) To 1: Get the freeware tool "ProjectX" (written in Java), install and start it.
- Menu "File" -> "Add"
- Choose the mpeg file
- (optionally you can choose the output directory at the bottom in the main window)
- Then click the "prepare >>" button
- A new window will open: make sure that "demux" is selected in the action bar
- Then click the Start button (or press Alt+S) As a result you will get a *.m2v (video stream) and a *.mp2 (audio stream) file To 2: Get the freeware tool "IfoEdit" (v0.95), install and start it.
- Menu "DVD Author" -> "Author new DVD"
- Click on the Button [.] right to the Video line and choose the formerly created *.m2v file
- Click on the Button [.] right to the Audio line and choose the formerly created *.mp2 file
- (optionally you can choose the destination directory at the bottom)
- Then press "OK" This will result in the neccessary files (*.ifo, *.vob and *.bup) which can be easily burned on a DVD (e.g. "Nero" as "DVD Video" by simply dragging and dropping them into the VIDEO_TS folder) The mentioned programs can be found here:
IfoEdit (~ 1 MB): http://www.ifoedit.com
ProjectX (~ 22 MB, including Java): http://download.videohelp.com/~download/ProjectX_090.4.00.zip I hope this was a little help. Regards, Demian P.S. Many thanks to Jack68 for seeding it :-)

Hi, when playing the file through windows media player or real player the picture and sound both skip. Has anyone else had this problem and can you suggest a solution? Many thanks.

Ok, I was able to create a DVD using TMPGEnc DVD Author. It's just great to watch this show in DVD quality! Many thanks again to the uploader! I am trying to seed this file now, but I can't get over 16 kb/s. I have set all my upload settings to maximum, but it won't get any faster? Is there anything I can do to speed up the upload?

I've got a few suggestions-- 1) Do you have a firewall? If so, make sure it's allowing connections through your BT program.
2) Your DSL provider might be capping your uploads at 16 kb/s. Nothing you can do about that.
3) When there are lots of seeders, there is a limit on the rate at which you can upload. Nothing you can do about that either.
