Ok, I'm trying to figure out where to find the Paint A Vulgar Picture outtake (?)
where they add the extra verse, "... And they paint a vulgar picture of the way they say that you were"
I've already searched high and low on this forum with no luck. If anyone out there could help, it would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Never heard of it, sure it's a smiths outtake and not morrissey playing it live?
Not many Smiths outtakes are in the public domain as Morrissey is very opposed to it, notable exceptions being the Troy Tate stuff and that early Suffer Little Children demo which leaked out.
Can't think of any outtake bootleg from Meat Is Murder or later.

Well, I was just listening to Tom Lennon (from Reno 911) on this radio show he recently did called
"Breakfast With The Smiths". I don't know if anyone here caught it, but he was going on and on about
this supposed PAVP outtake he had on a bootleg by the smiths with the extra lyric. I believed him
because he sounded like he knew what he was talking about (knew about Troy Tate sessions etc)
but he obviously has a Moz live cut or something. Thanks for the info though!

That verse was never done live. It was recorded in the studio, but dropped from the definitive released version. Tom Lennon must have gotten his hands on this early studio outtake.

Apparently being played this Sunday on Breakfast with the Smiths.
Streamed over the internet and over FM. Can someone record it? I'll try myself.

Every Sunday from 9:00am to 11:00am. Tune in to Los Angeles' 103.1fm, stream it live or get the App for the Iphone. DJ Jose Maldonado plays all Smiths, Morrissey and related artist. He is also the lead singer of the Smiths/Morrissey Tribute band (from LA) called the Sweet and Tender Hooligans.

Was expecting it to be the radio DJ's band playing it and a hoax but it's a damn good Moz impression if it isn't him :lol:

One thing with the demo is it's difficult to tell if he sings "Please the press in Belgium" or "Please depressing Belgians"!
I suspect it's the former but doesn't half sound like the latter!

thanx this is wonderful , there must be more demos out there , i wonder what there is left of mozdoras box of unreleased and rarities . lets hope there is a lot more , this is a gem . just off to nick those daffs :0)
