... here: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=99198 The Smiths
Arsenal (Basque TV)
TX: 4 October 1985
duration: 56'46" This programme made for Spanish, or rather Basque, TV show "Arsenal" (which on another occasion hosted The Chameleons, who also make a cameo performance here; The Chameleons show has been officially released) intersperses concert footage (full songs!) recorded on 16 May 1985 at the Studio 54 in Barcelona, with interview sections featuring Morrissey & Marr. Both sound and vision could be better, I guess, but this is all I've got and if anyone can improve on it, be my guest! Anyway, this is a cool programme and it is certainly watchable and listenable.
I did not do the original video transfer, but I did make a nice menu (I think), complete with background music (woo-hoo!). Check out the screenshots! One last note: the producers of the "Arsenal" series seem to have had a strange preference for some kind of stuttering effect (those who have seen the Chameleons programme should know what I mean!), so when the interview bits start, you shouldn't feel the need to adjust your set: that's how it was meant to look & sound! This is what it's all about: 1. intro
2. Montagues & Capulets
3. Hand In Glove
4. Handsome Devil
5. Johnny Marr
6. This Charming Man
7. Morrissey
8. Barbarism Begins At Home
9. Punk in Manchester

11. How Soon Is Now?
12. The music industry
13. Manchester music scene
14. Rusholme Ruffians
15. The Headmaster Ritual
16. Sandie Shaw
17. Hand In Glove (feat. Sandie Shaw)
18. Musical peers
19. Music videos
20. Punk Industry - What I Wouldn't Give
21. Miserable Lie
22. The Boy With The Thorn In His Side And here are the technical details for all you video geeks out there: Encoding mode: High Quality (2-Pass VBR)
Video mode: NTSC
Aspect ratio: 4:3
Quality: Standard play (5073 kbps)

ive seen this - its great - loads of stuff you dont see anywhere else ... there's a slightly head-scratching moment when morrissey sings
the words "the queen is dead" in the middle of barbarism,
much in the style of mark e smith when he sings lyrics from
things he's just written in the middle of other songs ...
