I got a standing for the 23rd. Then went to get one for the 22nd and they were sold out!
Will probably go for Hull too if it's happening.

Last week i bought 2 standing off eBay for the Birmingham gig.
More a Smiths fan than a Moz fan but after listening to a few solo albums on Spotify and seeing that he plays a few Smiths songs nowadays i decided to go for it....
Paid double the ticket price but as i'd made a large profit on two theatre tickets on eBay for a play i could no longer get to i didn't feel out of pocket at all.
Looking forward to it, he may be a bit bald and fat and past his best these days but it'll be my first Moz gig (was too young to see The Smiths too) so it will be an event!

viewed him in the states last weekend. i thought i was going to be disappointed after watching all the old smiths concerts, but i was actually thrilled with a big smile on my face the whole show. i too missed the smiths in the 80's as i was too young to know any better, all they would play in our area was popular music of the time. i remember hearing "how soon is now" though. but now i am a huge fan.

Loved The Smiths for 21 years, wasn't quite 14 when i first heard "Louder Than Bombs" on import and was hooked.
That was over a year after they'd split though.
As for Morrissey i think "My Love Life" was the point where i gave up buying his stuff, only just started buying his albums again now.
It's not the same but he still comes up with the occasional cracking track.
