Friends, can anyone comment on the sound quality of these? What do you think is a reasonable price to pay for them these days?
cheers

Well, I've had to answer my own question.........
As you have the same musical information on a smaller playing surface the signal-to-noise ratio is inevitably worse than the 12", and of course the mastering technology etc. is 1993 vintage and not 2012.........
Going rate seems to be £25ish for a really top notch copy, down to £10 for a played/used one.
cheers

People will collect anything but as they're reissues albeit 10" reissues they're not the sort of thing most Smiths fans would go for.
They're not even on Rough Trade are they? Seem to remember Rough Trade went bust not long after The Sundays' debut album came out.
Better off buying the Aussie World Won't Listen double album or a gatefold copy of Hatful Of Hollow imho but each to their own!

Whatever you like!
Can't go far wrong with the two I mentioned above and the nice standard issue gatefolds of Rank and Louder Than Bombs.
Back in the 80s people collected the 7" Rough Trade singles.
