Hello, Just wanted to know if there is any outtakes or alternative compilations to this brilliant album?, which ones have less live and more studio alternatives, demos ... not to say live is dead

There were plans to release a 2-cd anniversary edition of the album some years ago, but these plans fell through as so often they do. The second cd would have featured demos and outtakes of material from and around the time of the album.

A few of the tracks from the planned but scrapped bonus disc have made it a few years ago on a vinyl bootleg simply titled "The Smiths".
All the info is at "Passions Just Like Mine" (link below).
Some information in the collectors appendix for The Queen Is Dead:
http://www.passionsjustlikemine.com/disc/queenisdead-c.htm (scroll to 'UK or USA reference CD-R')
Bootleg "The Smiths" here:

More info on individual titles in the 'Songs and Versions' section.

I hadn't noticed that you'd added the that to the collector's appendix.
So are these the only three that made it onto the bootleg?
"There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" (take 1)
"The Queen Is Dead" (full version)
"Frankly Mr Shankly" (trumpet version)

These are official B-sides?
"Rubber Ring" (b-side)
"Asleep" (b-side)
"Money Changes Everything" (b-side)

And these are currently unreleased?
"The Queen Is Dead" (demo)
"Frankly Mr Shankly" (demo)
"I Know It's Over" (demo)
"Never Had No One Ever" (demo)
"Cemetry Gates" (demo)
"Bigmouth Strikes Again" (demo)
"The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" (demo)
"Unloveable" (demo)
"Vicar In A Tutu" (demo instrumental)
"Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others" (demo)
"Unloveable" (LP outtake)
"Never Had No One Ever" (take one / instrumental)

I think Unloveable is the one I'd most like to hear. Just the official release and the wonderful Inverness soundchecks exist.
