Hi there, just seen this over on ebay BBC Transcription Disc
and wondered if the track "Shakespeares Sister" was any different to the single. The BBC for TotP had on occasion used slightly different mixes and even less occasionally live vocals. I can't see the Top of the Pops track on the site and can't find it on my hard drive so can't make a comparison myself. Does anyone recall if there's any difference ?
Regards

I think this is a disk of a radio show called Top of the Pops that the BBC used to do for syndication in America. I know about that because I have a passing interest in The Kinks, and some of their radio sessions only survive on those disks.
There was no TOTP performance, but they did mime it on Oxford Road Show, which IMO could be a different mix, although I'm not sure. The bass sounds a bit more prominent in the YouTube clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-9itxGIt_c
