A pretty good quality bootleg despite a bit of phasing which sounds like it
originated from a soundboard. Only the final track from the set is missing.
This came from my Reel Around The Fountain silver CD bootleg. The full bootleg
has some other random tracks too.
01. You've Got Everything Now
02. Handsome Devil
03. Accept Yourself
04. What Difference Does It Make
05. Reel Around The Fountain
06. Wonderful Woman
07. These Things Take Time
08. I Don't Owe You Anything
09. Hand In Glove

This one was remembered by Andy Rourke as "a terrible gig". The venue was
small, it was very hot and the sound was loud.
The Smiths kicked the night off with the typical mid-1983 opener "You've Got
Everything Now". The version performed at the time was heavier on the falsetto
than the one that later made it onto the debut album. "Accept Yourself" was
definitely more assured than the performance from 2 weeks earlier at the
Electric Ballroom when it was probably debuted and just written. On one
occasion Morrissey still echoed his "time is against me now" line with a
falsetto repeat and yelping, something that would soon disappear from the
song.
"What Difference Does It Make?" was introduced with "The big question: what
difference does it make?". As the Smiths were playing live more and more
often, the song was growing from experience and at this point had only minor
lyrical differences to the one that would eventually be released. The
following track was introduced as "A song for tender hearts... 'Reel Around
The Fountain'".
The newly written "Wonderful Woman" contained interesting minor lyrical
differences to the version that would be released by the end of the year on
the "This Charming Man" single. For example the lines "I ask myself / What to
be said of her?" was still "Ah answer me / what do be done with her". "These
Things Take Time" still started with a drum roll and was introduced with "Four
very sad words, a sad fact of life, 'These Things Take Time'."
The only notable banter came just before the final song, "Hand In Glove".
Morrissey started by thanking the audience then said "This is our first single
which is actually charted. It's number 70 this week... next week higher." In
the song, instead of singing "but we have something they'll never have",
Morrissey sung "we have something they never had", as he often did at that
time.
BOOTLEGS
This concert (bar the encore of "Miserable Lie") can be found on the "Reel
Around The Fountain" bootleg in good quality along with other oddities like
3 Troy Tate sessions, 3 radio sessions and "What Do You See In Him?" from 4
February 1983.
"Wilde About The Smiths", a factory pressed cd in digipack has "Accept
Yourself" from this concert with many other live tracks, rarities and radio
and tv sessions.

Any chance for a reseed on this one? You mentioned it as one of the best of 1983, and I've never heard it!
Thanks!
