Hi folks,
Here's a show from DIME, courtesy of "raindogs," who said that this was from a trade a few years back and that there's no info on equipment used for taping.
Here's the original post:
This is a very clean audience recording of an excellent show from Morrissey's pre-"Quarry" US tour. Lots of witty banter (my favorite: "If my hair falls, I have to leave") and a great setlist.
Enjoy

I downloaded this too and I noticed that there are tiny gaps around all the track transitions. The spectrum looks pretty lossy as well cutting sharply at around 17kHz. Possibly an MD recording since they often look lossy...
I tested the WAV's with Trader's Little Helper and got this:
01 Track 01.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 100%
02 Track 02.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 93%
03 Track 03.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 80%
04 Track 04.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 93%
05 Track 05.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 43%
06 Track 06.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 89%
07 Track 07.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 94%
08 Track 08.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 91%
09 Track 09.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 43%
10 Track 10.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 43%
11 Track 11.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 42%
12 Track 12.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 86%
13 Track 13.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 62%
14 Track 14.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 90%
15 Track 15.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 92%
16 Track 16.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 43%
17 Track 17.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 43%
No errors occured.
So it looks like the program isn't really sure either. I will still guess MD recording. Even if it is a bit lossy the sound is pretty good so don't let my nit picking discourage any of you from downloading.

MD recordings usually do not only "look" lossy, they are (especially not recent recordings).
Tracks are stored in Sony's ATRAC format, which uses a destructive compression method.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MiniDisc#Compression
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATRAC
So it looks like the program isn't really sure either.
I agree with you   ... but: 43% CDDA could be also interpreted as 57% MPEG ;-)
Many thanks for the download.

Demian
P.S. My silver "Girl Afraid" CD (Smiths in Hamburg 84) gives me quite similar results to your analysis
